When the Universe Knocks…

Happy New Year!

When the universe knocks, do you say, “hello” or “hold on, I’m doing something else”?

I’ve got a perfect story to illustrate this scenario. A friend of mine had spent several years training to be a yoga teacher, and all she wanted was her own class to teach at this studio. Finally, after completing her training, the studio offered her a class. She left me a voicemail telling me the good, and bad, news: “Terri, they offered me a class! Unfortunately, it conflicts with my other job. I guess I have to decline the offer.”

I jumped on the phone, telling her to take the class and forget about her other job. This is what she’s always wanted, and by accepting this class, it will lead to her furthering her teaching skills and then being offered more classes.

The point here is this: do you get in the way of your own manifesting? Are you given opportunities for things you’ve always wanted but say no because of some reason, perhaps FEAR?

I hope this tip resonates with you, and encourage you share your experiences by writing a comment on my blog. Be sure to “like” on Facebook and post to Twitter to keep the conversation rolling.

Here’s to a fabulous 2012 and saying “yes, yes, YES” to all the universe offers!

Love Love Love

THANK YOU! That was JUST what I needed to hear! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve let opportunities pass me by because of FEAR! I’ve learned and am still learning to say YES to the opportunity and push through my fear. For example, in February 2011 I had the opportunity to go to Japan for 2 weeks for dance. My initial thought was “Oh I can’t go, I have work” but thanks to people like you and the work I’ve done, I was able to say YES and because of it I had the most amazing 2 week experience of my life!!! THANK YOU for the post and the reminder that when the Universe knocks, you better say YES! 🙂
    LOVE YOU!!!!!

To dance in Japan – WOW! What an amazing experience. Obviously you’re doing great work and breaking through barriers. Lots of positive energy flowing to and from you, mama. Keep it up!
