Terri Cole
Terri Cole, founder of Live Fearless and Free, is a licensed psychotherapist and an expert in transforming fear into freedom. Terri has spent the last two decades empowering companies, celebrities, professional athletes, Broadway performers, supermodels, and individuals across the globe to Live Fearless and Free. This program combines harnessing the power of intention, practical psychology, and thought innovation to create sustainable change and grew out of Terri’s work and research as a psychotherapist and her personal experience, or as she calls it, her “PhD in Fear.”
Terri worked for a decade as a talent agent for super models before earning a master’s degree in clinical psychotherapy from New York University. In 1997, she began a private practice in New York City and married her husband, Victor Juhasz, a widower with three teenage sons. Within 10 months, her father died unexpectedly, she was diagnosed with two kinds of cancer undergoing surgery and radiation treatments, and she and her family were robbed at gunpoint in their home.
From her professional experience, Terri knew she could not let fear dominate her life. With the help of her own therapist, she worked through her fear and spent the next 15 years exploring the mind-body connection to “demystify” fear while running her private practice in New York, Los Angeles, and internationally.

Terri Cole Teaching A Workshop
From these experiences, Terri has taught thousands of clients and students to transform their fear into freedom. Employing empathy, razor sharp insight, and wicked wit, she shares her wisdom through TV appearances (including The Conversation on Lifetime and Monster In-Laws on A&E), guest articles, a meditation CD “Meditation Transformation”, co-hosting Live Your Truth Love Your Life online group-coaching program with yoga psychologist Ashley Turner, and her soon-to-be published first book, “Flip Over and Float ~Transforming Fear into Freedom in 6 Simple Steps for Sustainable Change”.
A popular motivational speaker, Terri also worked for years as an adjunct professor at New York University in the Film and TV department. As her classes became more popular, she started guest speaking at events and seminars.
In 2007, Terri was invited to be a contributing author to Kris Carr’s best selling advice-from-the-trenches “must have” survival guide, Crazy Sexy Cancer Tips, and the recently released, Crazy Sexy Survivor. The books and a nationwide Crazy Sexy Boot Camp tour created the opportunity for Terri to become a faculty member and speak at several of the top retreat centers in the US, including The Omega Institute, Kripalu, The Crossings, and Unity NYC.
Terri splits her time between Manhattan’s upper west side and the New York Berkshires with her husband, Victor Juhasz, an award-winning illustrator who recently spent three weeks in Afghanistan embedded with a medevac unit at the front. She is also a proud mom to three grown sons, Max, Alex and Ben. Terri has a dedicated meditation practice and loves to workout. She is a certified Zumba instructor and enjoys yoga, hiking and kick boxing and, in 2009, completed a mini triathlon. Her most recent victory in fear: she got over her fear of heights by taking up the trapeze.

“If Not You…Who?”
“If Not Now…When?”
